Future

For the 2025 Patterned by Nature program at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Arquicostura created Future — conceived for the garden's main façade and one of its entrance pathways. Inspired by the native Echinacea flower, the intervention translates the language of traditional embroidery into an architectural scale through a site-specific floral pattern. The project highlights the capacity of public art to activate local identities, integrate contemporary craftsmanship within institutional spaces, and generate new cultural readings across the garden's landscape.
